Great book! I'm am currently a mechanical engineering major, but prior, for 6 years I was a welder by trade after attending a vocational high school.

Even though this book was written over 50 years ago, I think nearly all of it is as practical today as it was back then. The design calculations in it are clearly defined and the examples given are very useful in understanding the calculations.

Comprehensive, detailed and useful, includes real world examples, all the supporting math and formulas, and good real-world examples. Highly recommended.
